Our Goals:

• To raise money from fundraising events and ask money donations from local corporations and individuals.

• Collaborate with other non-profit organizations to pursue the same objectives and missions.

• Provide shelter, food, clothing, medical care, school supplies, tuition, toys, and etc.

• Provide financial support for educational programs and vocational trainings.

• Provide educational scholarships to orphans and underprivileged students in K-12 schools. 

Yearly Updates:

January 2004: 

    1. We  donated 30 new outfits to 30 orphans at Huong Duong Orphanage locate in CanTho, South VN.

    2. Two members visiting Vietnam: Vi Nguyen and Andrew Dang will visit at least 10 orphanages locate in CanTho, Go Vap, and Saigon. They will donate new clothes to the orphans and food for the orphanage.

January 24th & 25th:

    1. Asking for money donations at Seattle Center during Tet in Seattle festival.

February 2004:

    1. Fundraising event on February 12 &13: We  sell roses, candies, cards, and Valentine's accessories to students and staff. We raised over $300!!!

March-May 2004:

    1. Asking to gifts donation and perhaps hold a garage sale, 100% of the profit will donate to the orphanages.

June 2004:

   1. Chau T. Dang, the President is inviting members and new members to join a tour from June 28th- July 7th. We will visit more then 8 orphanages in Saigon, DaLat, Nha Trang, and CanTho hon.  At each orphanage Chau Dang will donate $100 and school supplies to the orphans.  On the way returning to Saigon, the group may stop by at Nha Trang to visit a few orphanages and meet with Catalyst Foundation (co-founder Caroline Ticarro-Parker). July 2004:

   1. From July 14 to August 14, Chau Dang will be doing an independent study at Little Warm Rose Shelter at Saigon.  If you have any questions about her trip, please contact her directly.

August 2004:

   1. The Foundation had donated nearly over $1,700 to at risked children and poor families. You can take a look at the pictures on the previous page.

2. I have to say this summer was the best summer for me, I had so much fun visiting the orphanages and playing with the girls at Little Warm Rose Shelter, they're the best. Unfortunately my plans had changed a little bit, I didn't visit Quy Nhon or DaNang liked I supposed too. I'm hoping to return to Vietnam again in three years to continue the foundation expedition.

April-May 2005:

   1. Chau will be traveling to Vietnam and doing a one-month internship in Bangkok, Thailand working with refugees in detention camps. Chau will visit some of the orphanages she visited during summer of 2004 and donate school supplies to the children. Please contact her for more information.
