Primary: Home Schooled with Private Instructors. Entered a progressive private institution and graduated with high honors at the early age of 16. She had also completed her 2 year degree. She entered University at the age of 18 and completed her 4 year degree. She graduated again with high honors.

Secondary: Entered Medical School, and completed an 8 year program in 6 years.

Hobbies: She loves research. She is a history buff, she loves to study all aspect of anthropology. She loves the folklore of her heritage and is quite learned with all the old remedies and holistic ways. She had taken field seminars on these subjects. She also has enjoyed collecting the old healing implements from the past. She enjoys a variety of music, altho Celtic is her favorite. She loves figuring out puzzles of all sorts.
Personality: Miaren is quiet in a large social setting, altho if you get her to relax and warm up, or get her talking about her favorite subject she will warm up and be rather gregarious. She is open, and helpful, she does not talk above another, and always is able to help the other person relax. She worked wonderfully with the children in hospital. She does not always share personal information, and many see her as cool, distant and guarded. She has a wicked sense of humor, and can be rather quick witted. She can also have quite the wicked sharp tongue when provoked or her ire raised.

Cadet Hywell's no nonsensical attitude makes her clearly an asset to the field of research. History:

Miaren is the only child of wealthy prominent parents. She was raised in the best conditions, the best schools and care. Although her family was affluent, she was not raised as such, being reared to believe it is who you are not what you have that is important.. She was also raised to have a high consciousness about the conditions of others and especially children. Her parents run a genetic research lab geared to help produce stronger humans. They are also perfecting the technology of the new science of cell regeneration. Their lab and research is funded by Starfleet. Her parents entertain many of the higher echelon of the Academy where her father also teaches and many in Starfleet. She was tutored at home until the age of 12 when she entered a progressive private academy. She excelled there, and graduated earlier than most her peers, with a 2 year college course as well as her regular course. At 18 she entered University and finished her 4 year course and entered Medical School. She again excelled in all fields she studied. During her breaks she either worked with her parents in their research facility or went on trips around the world, to learn and see many important historical sites. During the last year in Medical School she was noticed by the Admiralty of Starfleet and offered a commission, which meant another 2 years of training. After much debate and long study Miaren chose to enter Starfleet.

Career:

Miaren graduated at the top of her class, and she attended Officers School. She graduated with her Lt. Lower Grade and had been working with her parents in the research facility in Headquarters. She has just been assigned as the Chief Medical officer on the USS Capricorn. This will be her very first assignment.
