SSE1, Office of Personnel, Admiral Everett To: USS Capricorn, Commanding Officer, Captain Re: Personnel Log SD: 150220.1742 Starfleet Record: Present Assignment: USS Capricorn Player: Tree Deutscher Name: Montana Lee Phillips Physical Description: Medical Data: Psychological Profile: Personality: 'Pet List' Quincy - 5' long 13 lb. Giant Green Iguana, Quincy is very sociable and loves people and he was banned from the arboretum during the Ferran Ambassadors visit. This was after he caused a major uproar during the Ferrans unplanned mating ritual resulting in serious injuries to the Doctor and minor injuries to one of her Security Staff. Nat - 3' long 3 1/2 lb. Giant Green Iguana, Nat is the loner of the pair and is usually found hanging out on the limbs decorating Montana's quarters. Other - 5' long Albino Okeetee Cornsnake, if someone comes by Montana's quarters in her off-hours it's not unusual to find Other wrapped around her arm or neck. Jeep - Species: TaNog, Vacationing on Risa with a fellow officer Risian Ambassador Luroc learned of Montana's love for animals after saving one of his beloved pets from certain death. He told Montana about a very rare species of animal that was indigenous only to his planet. The Ambassador explained that Ta-Nog's were a well-guarded secret, one because of their rarity and two because the animal is considered sacred among the Risians. If has been found that the tiny animals for some reason cannot be scanned by any known means, and having the power of invisibility and teleportation their true numbers are unknown. Ta-Nogs are thought to bring good luck and it is an extreme honor just to see one. To actually bond with one is considered one of the highest honors of all and whomever is 'picked' by a Ta-Nog supposedly has the blessings of the universe and is revered by the Risians. The small creatures resemble perfectly round Tribbles only with two spindly arms and two legs with rather large feet and hands with 5 stubby digits resembling fingers and toes. They also have huge eyes and the only time you can actually see a mouth is when they smile broadly otherwise it is hidden under their furr. Extending from their head is a small pair of antennae. Their language is composed of several different distinct sounds that are unrecognizable to any known translator. If a person is fortunate enough to be chosen, then there is a religious ceremony by the native Risians. This holy ritual bonds owner and pet for life and once the bonding is complete the two in an odd fashion actually communicate with each other. Curious and playful by nature, they have very sweet loving personalities, and are considered to be a very good judge of character. TaNog's do not show themselves to just anybody and it is considered an honor to be counted among the few who have seen them. An extremely unique animal, Montana learned from the Ambassador that a Ta-Nog picks its owner not the other way around. With her curiosity peaked and after several ritualistic blessings Montana began a trek lasting several weeks camping out in the isolated provinces of Risa in hopes of seeing one of these precious creatures. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would actually be lucky enough to be chosen by one until Jeep appeared one night by her campfire. Montana considers herself lucky that Jeep chose her, but at times wonders which one of them is actually the pet. Comments: As Head of Ambassadorial Security Montana Phillips has been subjected to some very unique situations. Amazingly her blunt straight forward *tough* manner has served her well and earned her a few nicknames from the HHQ staff. She is well liked by the different Ambassador's that frequent HHQ so much that, her presence on the Security Team is regularly requested by them for various functions. I feel her professionalism and no-nonsense attitude towards detail would be perfect for the Capricorn - Admiral Judi D'Arque, Diamond Fleet Lt. Phillips attention to detail and her patience for intensive research has been a boon to the Security Department. Her egocentric manner has earned her the title "The Boss' among the Admiralty and the Staff alike. She is well on her way to rivaling the best and will go far in whatever she chooses. - Admiral Jack Ridger, HHQ Security Lt. Phillip's social ineptness and her naivete has come close causing an intergalactic incident. If it wasn't for her unswerving devotion to Starfleet I would recommend she be court martialed. -Admiral Thomas Martin, HHQ See File 242-1B Classification 1 Phillip's is a bright student, but is extremely introverted to the point that it has caused problems. Her lonewolf attitude and unreachable mannerisms has alienated many of her fellow cadets. After several incidents I have recommended she be transferred to the Security Department for which she is far better suited. - Dr. Briggs Kuhlman, Science Dept, Starfleet Academy. Background: History: Because of her isolated childhood she had problems fitting in with the rest of the students and preferred to be by herself. By accident she ended up in security, which was a relief for the Science Instructors as she blew up the lab on several occasions with her "crazy" experiments. Finding her niche in the security field she became relentless at being the best she could be. Throwing herself into her studies she rose quickly in her class and graduated with high marks in her security oriented classes only. When she wasn't studying she would spend hours toning her body and mind into the perfect fighting machine. Unfortunately due to an incident on her first duty station Montana was severely injured and hospitalized and almost court-martialed. After being declared fit for duty a mistrustful Montana threw herself into her work, demanding perfection from herself and earning manys awards for bravery and valor above and beyond the call of duty. Career: (Sorry not good with the dates yet) - Graduated Starfleet Academy, rank: Ensign ////End Starfleet record//// |
