Campbell and Ewen in their post-Trees experiment with Country & Western outfit Canyon. The band featured Tom on drums and "Boring" Al Corrigal on weird noises. Their one and only gig was met with shouts of "shite" and "thats no country and westrin". "They didn't understand us." said a defiant Ewen later "We were pushing back the boundaries so others could follow. The fact that they didn't is irrelevant."

A bootleg recording of the gig was made and now changes hands for up to £1.
