: : : Local Band Press Interview : : :

How did you guys form?
MATT: We met each other at a gay club one night. I believe you were dancing and I bought you an iced tea. Then we went back to your house and cuddled and played guitars.
JIM: Shut up, I knew Matt's brother, Gazelle, since we were wee little ones.

When did you guys form?
JIM: Um...2000? But we started getting serious in like 2002.

What band influenced your EP the most?
MATT: Probably Kut U Up.
JIM: Yes. We listened to them a lot when we were working on this. That is why our style is so similar to theirs.

Who writes the songs?
JIM:We both write our share...

What about music, how is that done?
MATT: Well you hit cords on the guitar and it produces sound. That is music. Jim? Any comments on this one?
JIM: Well, Matt writes some of the guitar parts, most of them. Then I come in and write the lead stuff to add some zip...I also write the bass.

Whats your favorite song that you have?
MATT: Um, probably the Rainbow Melody because it is based on a true story and its just a rad Simon and Garfunkle type of song.
JIM: I'll get back to you on this one.

Whats up with the CD title and art work?
MATT: Well I think I came up with the title.
JIM: Yeah, I put all the art together and made the cover and other pages.
MATT: Don't be silly, Jim. There is not need to be ashamed of it. Tell them. It's a picture of you when you were a cowboy.

Didn't you used to have a guitar / equipment tech, Mike? What happened to him?
MATT: Mike is no longer with us. He got a new job and he hates us now. Jim can explain more about it.

JIM: I can? Well that's pretty much it. I mean, now we are going to have his brother Matt do it. He is 10 times cooler than Mike. Matt actually knows what he is doing too. Matt doesn't wear Hawaiian shirts all the time too.
