Being a military wife is hard. Especially now. My husband deployed for war on Feburary 27, 2003. Along with a lot of my good friends work with him. I would like to give thanks to them now. SrAirmen Samuel Cooke-Cleary, Airman 1st Class Nathan Vanecko, Airmn 1st Class Micheal Snook, SrAirmen Brent Davidson, and SrAirmen Levi Seeds. Guys please com home safe. We are waitng on you.
My husband could begone for as little as 6 months to as long as 1 year or over. Having to hear my 3 year old son asking for his dadd is really heart breaking. I am down visiting my in laws right now and the other day he put his coat and shoes on. He came up to me and said, "Mommy, I want to go home!" I told him we were home for the time being. H then replied, "But if we go home we can go pick daddy up from work and then he will be home with us like he is suppossed to be." I wanted to cry. How could make him unerstand that that wouldn't happen? I just told him I wish that it was true but it wasn't and his daddy would be home before he knew it. Time would fly real fast. But it isn't. To me it seem to be dragging on. He hasn't been gone that long, but it seems like he has been gone an eternity. Please come home safely dear. The children and I love you!
Dedication to SrAirmen Edward Allan Wilson, Jr.
A young man of 21 years of age serves his country. He is part of the United States Air Force. He has a wife and 2 young children. He never really thought he would be called up to serve in a war. Not in his time. But when it happened he took up arms and was ready to defend his country. A nation he loves very much. Where exactly is he at right now? I am not certain. I know he is standing there in the middle of the desert, ready for action. Thinking of his wife and children. Ready to do what he has to to defend his country. So his family can live free. This is how every American soldier feels.
They are doing their job. Do not look down on them if you disagree with the military action. Unlike you they don't have a desicion it what goe onat their job. They have to do as tey are told. If they don't they can either ge kicked out or go to jail. They fight for your rights. So you can strike when things aren't going your way. God Bless US soldiers. Each and every one of them!
