Rants and Raves


Well as I have said before I am a teenage mother. I gave birth to my first child at 16 and my second one at 18. People look down on me for having children at such a young age. As long as I am competent enough to take care of and love my children than that does not make me a bad person. My children are happy and have a warm home and food to eat. My husband and I take care of them. Don't get me wrong it is a tough job. Especially with my children being twenty months apart. Are my hands full? Quite.
My husband is the father of both my children and he is a wondeful man. I hate it when people say, "Oh what a poor guy. Only twenty-one and has two children." Hey he loves me and his children. He wouldn't trade us for anything in the world. The average teenage male now a days has one to two children they just don't stick around to take care of them. My husband was one of the few to do so. It his okay for men to make babies and leave them behind but it isn't ok for women. Women are degraded for making children out of wed lock or at a young age. I do not agree with having children at 11 through 14. That is way to young. But as of 15 you are responsible enough to raise the child. Don't give your child up for adoption. Don't make your parents raise it. You opened your legs now you have to fess up to the consequences. Sex is for procreation. altough most people nowadays use it for recreational sport. Yes sex does feel good, but when you come up pregnant then don't go running around looking for a way to get out of it. You created it. The same goes for guys. They created the child they need to stick around. Children are the most wonderful things you can have. No matter how down and out you get they will always be there to find someway to make you laugh.
I remember when my father died. My son was on 8 months old. He didn't know what was wrong with me just that his mommy was crying like a big baby. He came over and hugged me. He ran his fingers through my hair and then started tickling me. Even though I was so upset I could barely talk and was having trouble breathing he came and made me laugh. All the way until his father got home with his leave paper work(he is in the United States Air Force). He still does the same now when I am upset. Usually he yells at his daddy saying,"See what you did." And he hugs me and kisses me. The whole time telling me it will be allright.
So please if you are going to have sex be careful and if you do get pregnant keep the child. Rememberit isn't the child's fault. It was your actions. Give the child the chance to live and know his real parents.
