TMF is pretty much finished. I can't even put the movies up on the site because I don't possess them, Tim does. Tim doesn't want to have anything to do with this sort of stuff anymore so it's finished. It was a loopy ride indeed, but all rides eventually come to an end. This one, came to an abrupt end considering the fact that we didn't even finish two movies that were in the works. One was finished, but never got edited. Another was in production, but was dropped when Tim decided that he didn't want to do it anymore. The only regret that I have is not being able to host the movies on the site. Assuming someone were to stumble upon this site and would want to see the mockery. Pictures simply are not enough.

This site will resume activity assuming one of two things happen: One, Tim gets possessed again by the same spirit that made him want to do this stuff in the first place; Two, I get my own digital camcorder.

Loooo! The Musical, Moooo! Urban CowBub and The Love of Horrors is now available for viewing. I don't know when the rest will become available, but I imagine it won't take long. I will be riding Tim in the near future to create compressed mpeg files of all the movies for download capability. I want this site to be complete sometime in the near future. So anyway, go check out the three movies listed above. I'm sure you will laugh your ass off (or curse at the horrible quality!)

Believe it or not, but we actually shot another movie. This one was a sequel to both "Serum" and "Cancer" only this time, Tim has cancer and Sean as Dr. Meyer must use his radically new miniturization technology to combat the cancer inside of Tim. I am in this movie as well, I play the cancer inside Tim. Sariah returns, but as a red blood cell that I attack. It's short and cheezy and it will make a great addition to the collection. Does this mean TMF will be going strong again soon? I don't know, but you can always keep your fingers crossed that it might.

I'm still wondering why we don't have the movies on the site. Like I've said before in the past, everything relies on Tim's ability to get things done and that is why things have been stalled for as long as they have.

Tim got the XL-1S, and we have been talking about the next TMF movie. Tim is going to wait until he graduates from WIU before he moves on into something more serious with TMF, but for right now the word is out and we are going to begin production in a little over two weeks from now. What's the next TMF movie going to be? Who knows. It won't be Poooo!, since Poooo! takes place in the summer. We will whip something out.

It's been quite a while since the last news update as you can see. To tell you the truth, nothing of importance has been happening recently, at least not enough to print. The only news worth speaking of is that my computer crashed big time and I lost everything on my hard drive, which also included the script for Poooo!. I managed to print a hard copy of it, but now I have to type it all back up. That sucks!

On a more up note, Tim is FINALY getting the Canon XL-1S. Hopefully pretty soon we will be back in the swing of things, making some more TMF movies. He has been really busy with school and his new job, but he will be graduating soon and will hopefully be able to squeeze out some extra available time from that. Once he gets some more free time he will be putting our movies up on the site. Also coming will be a way for you to order our movies on DVD or VHS. These are just plans for the future of TMF and with the coming of the new equipment, I'm sure we will be producing more killer features shortly.

Another short piece of related news is the new Opaque Productions jobs we have in the running. The Minibosses are still compiling video clips of live shows, but there is also a music video for the Springfield band Mr. Opporknockity in the works. More on that later though.

Well, today will be remembered for quite a while. Today at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Standard Time in Manhattan, New York, a hijacked airliners is flown into one of the World Trade Center twin towers. At 9:03 A.M., a second plane flys into the second tower. At 9:43 A.M. a third plane crashes into the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C. 10:48 A.M., a fourth plane has crashed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Both of the twin towers and a whole section of the Pentagon cease to exist. The news is calling it an act of war by terrorists. I suppose soon enough we will know for sure.

I just now realized that the site has been pretty much screwed for the last month. Go figure! Well, I fixed all the glitches and now you can actually view the pictures of our movies featured on the catalogue page. Sorry! I really didn't know that the links were broken. It just goes to show you how often I actually view this site. (really I have all the files on my computer, so I don't bother coming to the site unless I need to make some changes to it.)

Oh yeah! If I know anything, I know this. The time is at hand to make another cheesy movie. I can feel it building. It may not be Poooo!, but it is going to be something. Hopefully soon, Tim will put up the actual links to the movie files, that way you can watch the movies instead of dream of how they may look. More on that later....

Since TMF is not making actual movies for a while, I've decided to start making Flash animations. I've added a few to the animations page, which I'm sure you have all forgotten about by now since nothing was on there before. Check them out if you get bored, lord knows I am. I will be adding more as time goes by.

The Trenchcoat Mafia DVD has been completed. It's pretty cool. Due to the excessive cost of DVD media right now, plus the problem with incompatibility issues, we will not be mass producing any DVDs. Sorry! maybe in a year or two when the cost comes down and we could afford to do it on a grand scale.

August 27th, 2001
Not much has been going on as of late. Tim and I have been discussing the purchase of a Cannon XL-1S. Tim's also attempting to experiment with DVD-R stuff, although it may not actually work on a stand-alone player, it would still be cool to see our movies on DVD. Uhhhh.. I registered opaque-entertainment.com a few days ago. It should be up tomorrow (better be). Once it is totally up and running, this site will be merged into the Opaque Entertainment conglomerate website. It will still remain accessable via it's current location, but it will also be accessable through the opaque-entertainment.com domain name as well. It should be cool, you'll just have to wait and see!

August 16th, 2001
Okay. I'm back online and I'm taking charge of the uploading process. By the time you read this news update you will be seeing the site on the internet at it's home location until we can afford to get our own .com name established (if you couldn't already tell, we are generally broke all of the time!). Nothing new so far except for me getting back online. Other than that, things are still pretty boring around here. I'm still waiting for Tim to take some interest in continuing to make movies. Until that day, keep checking back for more updates to this site!

July 30th, 2001
I'm going to stop talking about uploading this damn site until I finally upload the son-of-a-bitchin thing. I cut a CD of my recent Charlie Dango songs. I think I'm going to go ahead and work on a site for that while I'm here. TMF has been put on hold for a moment. Tim is working for Cass Communications now and he is pretty busy with that. We are going to work together as Opaque Productions once more, this time for the band The Minibosses. Hopefully all of that pans out well. No real date as to when we will get back to shooting.

July 17th, 2001
Still haven't uploaded the site. I'm doing some less favorable work for my family right now. I'm creating a teaching tool for my "nephew" in Flash. Poooo! is officially hung up for now. No real progress has been made as of recent involving movie making ventures. Right now, I'm just writing some new songs for my Charlie Dango project and working on this Flash thing. I've decided not to work on any more scripts until Poooo! is completed as well. Right now I don't even know if we will be able to shoot Poooo! at all this year.

July 4th, 2001
Well it's been a while and still this site has not been uploaded to the net. Poooo! is temporarily out to lunch due to many unforseen dificulties. Tim has decided to NOT shoot anything so I am stuck in limbo. I am pondering putting the project on standby until I can get my own equipment. I really don't want to wear out my welcome with Tim, but at the same time I don't want the making of Poooo! to be held up by Tim. We will see in the following days what becomes of all of this.

June 26th, 2001
The editing for "The Love of Horrors" has been completed and Tim's first feature is almost finished. Soon the compilation video will be ready and we can move on to new and better things. I have made the decision to hold auditions for the role of the passing drifter in Poooo! I'm not sure of how receptive people will be about it, nor am I sure how well the whole thing will turn out, but it's worth a try.

June 25th, 2001
We finally finished Moooo!, and have begun shooting Poooo!. Right now the cast consists of Sean Taylor as a social worker, and Bill Davidsmeyer as Boxcar Charlie. Bub was playing the part of the passing drifter, but came down with an illness, so we made plans to recast the part. We have already shot 3 scenes, but I decided after watching the dailies to reshoot scene 3. We went ahead and jumped through the scene without really preparing for it adequately and all the dialog was almost unusable. We don't really have a choice now, since we are recasting Bub's part. I might try to find another person outside of the creative circle to help with this one.

June 21st, 2001
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Tim DeWitt has directed his first movie!! This is a landmark event considering the fact that in all of these years he has never shot a movie. He spent all the money and bought all the equipment, but has never directed a movie himself. He primarily works on music videos and such, so it ought to be entertaining to see what he does with his first movie. The name of it is "The Love of Horrors". I wrote it and Tim directed it and shot it. It stars Sean Taylor, Sariah Plunkett and myself. I guess that makes it eventful even moreso. I haven't been in one of these movies since Star Wars back in 1994. Pretty soon we will have Sean directing one of his own. Bub is supposed to be hitting me with a script pretty soon. Hopefully he does that, then we can get things really cooking.

June 20th, 2001
We still haven't uploaded the site yet, but I'm going to keep proceeding with the news and adding things here and there as if we had. It will be done sooner or later, I'm sure of it.

June 18th, 2001
Version 1.2 of this website is finished and ready for uploading. We are scheduled for uploading on Wednesday, June 20th, 2001. This will also be the date that Moooo! Urban Cowbub will be completed. Once the website and Moooo! are complete we will move on to our next project which will most likely be Poooo! The Bum. It's hard to tell exactly where we will go from here, but I'm sure we will whip out something in the next couple weeks.
