using a two car V set - DTM 8034 & DTD 9031

Starting at Sydney Terminal, the major destinations included:

* Glenfield via East Hills

* Bondi Junction via Liverpool, Bankstown and Sydenham

* The goods line through Enfield

* The City via the main western line

* The Sydney Harbour Bridge

* Hawkesbury River

* The Carlingford line

* Lidcombe Loop and Sefton Park Junction

* Past the XPT Service Centre via the goods line

* Down the Illawarra line to Cronulla

* Back to Sydney Terminal
