February 1 saw the troop and crew running an event at the Cub Scout Klondike in Southgate.
Our station was "Ice Rescue". We demonstrated to the Cub Scouts the procedures for aiding someone who has fallen through the ice, then let them give it a try. Our scouts had time to goof around before things got going, and had cocoa, hot dogs and soup afterward!
