In August 2003, members of 5 units, from 3 metropolitan areas in two states met in Florida for a program at the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base. A national or council contingent? No, just business as usual for Troop/Crew 1743. The boys of the Troop and the girls of the Venture Crew had invited friends from other units to help fill out the Sea Exploring ship. Everyone met in Florida, boarded the ship, and set off for 6 days of sailing, fishing, snorkeling, and a day at Key West.
