Cajun Jeep Jamboree

This was the 7th year of the Cajun Jeep Jamboree and my first time attending. All and all I think everyone had a great time, I know I did. The jamboree is held in St. Francisville, LA in April. I think the final count on people was around 180 and around 95 vehicles. There are five trails to choose from all with great scenery and wonderful obstacles. The trails where pretty easy this year due to the lack of rain southern Louisiana has been experiencing, but that didn't make the trails any less fun.

Friday morning we all met at a the local baseball field before heading out.

This is the beginning of Solitude, one of the five trails to be riden on. Here we stop for a short time to lock hubs, disconnect, and BS before starting.

Here we are trying to negotiate one of the first real obstacles in Solitude. Now I know it doesn't look like much, but believe me its about a 3ft deep ditch underneath those Jeeps. As you can see in the next picture of my trusty XJ being put on the side.

For this I got the Rollover award. I COULDN'T LET YOU SWGuys have all the fun. Busted taillight and a dented tailgate….

Here is one of the guys from Florida who was running 36's. On an obstacle we call Dead Tree Hill. He made it look easy with those tires.

Here are a few more of the same obsticle .
