Before:

This graph was taken from a stock 99 Katana.
Each dip shows actual horse power and performance in  each gear red zoned!!!
Max power is 69.9 HP. The chart shows HP on the left side and MPH on the bottom.
Notice the long climb to get the bike to the  top speed. Starting at 10 mph!
Notice 1st gear hits about 59hp, reaches
40 mph  and  drops heavy. Then moves slowly up through each gear into the mid 60's with heavy  HP drops between each gear shift. It took the bike until about 4th and 5th gear to reach max HP!!! Over all good performance but slower throttle response and acceleration.

After

Notice How much more Hp you get in 1st. Running starts at 20 hp, maxes at almost 68 hp and 75 mph. Over 10+ more than stock.  The performance drops between each gear are much lower.  You hit almost 70 hp in 2nd + third. The climb to top speed is also quicker!!

When riding, the engine doesn't feel as limited!! It allows me to get into higher RPM's comfortably. On my first trial run after service I got it up to 3rd crusing  around 75mph easy!!

Besides the charts, the bike feels, sounds and runs 10 times better!!! The Yosh slip cuts done the pipe's weight almost in 1/2. She purrs down the street and I can get up  through the gears so much faster than before!!   It's great, well worth the cost!!
The kit was about $110, labor for 4 hrs $200 and the slip on pipe was $220.
Your talking a little over about $500 done right, with the shop setting it in perfectly!!
