Drive to trail head
The drive up to the trail head was a bit difficult. Much of the road was washed out or covered by large rocks. The last 10 miles of the drive took about an hour. It started raining before we got to the trail head.

Trail to Goldmyer
The trail was beautiful and followed the river for most of the way. It continued raining.

Camping at Goldmyer
We set up camp as quickly as possible to get our stuff out of the rain. Once we set up camp, we hiked up to the hot springs. Unfortunately, due to all of the rain, I didn't get any pictures of the hot springs. After a good soak, most of the group decided to head back to Seattle rather than camping. Robbie and I decided to take a nap and then go back to the springs after we rested. We woke up a couple of hours later to large amounts of water gathering in our camp. I dug a trench to get some of the water away from my tent, but it didn't really help that much. After realizing that our camp was probably going to flood, we decided it would be best to hike out. It was already dark and we hadn't eaten yet. It took us a little over two hours to hike out. It was raining pretty hard for the entire hike out. Luckily, Jake and Wendy invited us to sleep in their van for the night.

After the rain
We woke up around 8:30 in the morning and the rain had just about stopped. We hung out for a little while and then decided to head out. The road was washed out even worse than on the way up, but we made it out alive.
