I'm posting this a few years after the actual party because I just recently found the CD of pics. From what I remember, I had just returned from visiting my family in Houston for xmas. The tsunami had hit just a few days later. The vibe this night was a bit odd. Everybody was happy to be with friends to bring in the new year, yet the tsunami kept coming up. Someone decided the theme for the evening would be 'Happy New Year! Too bad about the tsunami.'
