I'm not sure what time it started snowing, but I started heading to the transit station around 6pm. On the way there, I noticed two people building a snowman in the middle of the soccer field. I walked over to take a picture when they mentioned that the middle snowball was too heavy to lift. At that time, two other people walked up and we all together lifted the snowball up and finished up the snowman.
When I arrived at the transit station, there was a large crowd of people and the busses weren't moving. It turns out that all busses were ordered to stop and wait for snow chains. Unfortunately, the trucks bringing the chains were dealing with the traffic not moving on the freeways. After hanging out at the transit station for about an hour, I walked back to my office and hung out until about 9:30pm. The busses were running and I got home at a little after 10pm.
The next morning was really cold, but the busses were running on time. So I took the bus to work only to find out that just about everybody else stayed home.
