Tribal Image is a mixed of Hip-Hop, Jazz, some Breaking dance style, and if there is any other dance style that we come along to we would add it to our dance style. The group has been up and running since 2002. Thought the years the Team has gone through many ups and downs, but survived through it all. We all love to dance and perform in front of people. As we grow we hope to have more fun dancing with each other.

As one teen from San Jose, Cali was promoting a Showcase in 2002 that was produced by Episode Showcase started to get an idea of forming his own group. With some communication with other teens from his school, they all got inspired to form a local group. Episode Showcase included singers, dancers, and other form of artist. Singing did not the fit them best to do and they all just figured why not just dance. After a while of preparations they started the group. Being first called "SEQUENCE," which that did not work out, because another group had the name, some what. The group did noting for the first year, for the fact that they we're still in Sophomore year of high school and involved with their school activites. As time went on the name changed from Sequence-Original Image- Diverse Filipinos-and Tribal Chi. Late in the year 2003 the group restarted with new members and a new name. Combining two words from the previous names they came up with the dance team was then called Tribal Image. Tribal Image was offered to perform for an event under the Filipino Youth Coalition, the founder of the team toke it. After a week and a half of asking friends from three different high schools, Tribal Image came along together very well and with people not knowing each other much, the group got along well, and became friends. When practices came, everyone cooperated and helped each other out. The bond got stronger every practice and that made the team strong and stick together. After a few months after the offered performance Tribal Image offered other people to audition and with the new team every year TI still manages to have a great times and good performances. The founder and captains hope to grow as a team and become one as a family also with new style's of dance, new members, and new opportunities along the way.
