Mission: To stimulate the mile wide, inch deep mainstream market with lyrics ranging out-side of the normal "I broke up with my boyfriend/My boyfriends cheating on me/That guys hot/Come on over, stud!" concept, and to bring back the notion that it might be better to play your instruments more than 4 times before you go into the recording studio, and it might be better to play more than just a synthisizer. |
Style: We are not boxed in by a genre we want to cater to. It would perfectly be ok for us to go from a ska song, to a classical song, to an arena rock, to a metal, then a punk, then emo, then...etc. We don't want to pigeon-hole ourselves into one genre and then, when we try to break free, be called sell-outs. |
Influences: Lyricly: Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Guardian, Five Iron Frenzy, Led Zepplin, Radiohead, Weezer, Van Halen Musicaly: All of the above stuck in a blender, pureed, stuck in the oven at 500 Degrees for 10 minutes, sprinkled with spice, and left to cool. Serves: it's purpose |
Tri age (tree-azh, tree-aje, Fre.) n : A process in which things are ranked in terms of importance or priority. |
