This is Sam.He is a collie/golden retreiver mix.He is going on 8 yrs old.I adopted him when he was 2yrs old.He had been adopted 2 other times and they brought him back.After the first day of haveing him I kinda knew why.He scratched all night and would moan and groan cause he had scratched so much.So I took him to the vet come to find out he had mange and so we treated him.He had no hair on his ear and back by his tail.He was missing alot of hair.But as you can see he now has hair.He was shaved down a few months ago cause I had him at my grandma's outside and he was matted real bad but it is coming back pretty good.
							This one was also takein today.He is shaking hands with my oldest daughter!He is such a sweety!!
		He wouldn't even come out from behind a table when I first got home.Some one had to have abused him but he is my baby.I spent alot of time and money on him to get him better.He is fixed and is very good with other animals but don't like kids much other than my 2 or strangers.he is my body guard while hubby is gone.He is very laid back dog.(Bottom)these pictures were takein today 3/16/05 See he is sticking his tounge out at you guys.LOL
