VEL

Our youngest blue girl Blacdimonz Blue Velvet of Tribboch was born on the 13 May 2000.    Vel has rarely been shown as she was very slow to mature and grow her coat.  However she did win a Junior class at the Scottish Border Collie Club championship show in 2001 and to our great delight also took the Reserve Challenge Certificate that day.   Late 2002 Vel also won a strong Post Graduate bitch class at the North West Border Collie Club Championship show.  

Vel's first Championship Show of 2003 was Crufts, where she delighted us by winning Post Graduate Bitch. Vel followed this up by winning Post Graduate at East Anglian Border Collie Club and Birmingham Dog show.

We keep our fingers crossed she will continue to do well.

At Open level Vel has had several 1st prizes and Best of Breed Awards.

Vel has again done us proud by winning her last Post Graduate class in grand style ~ taking the Bitch CC and Best of Breed at the National Working & Pastoral Breeds Championship show 2004.

Vel has been mated to Sh. Ch. Sheltysham Swagman and produced two baby girls for us on the 21 November 2003.  We now have a page for them which you can see HERE.

Vel returned to the show ring to be placed 2nd in Limit at Crufts 2005. Vel won Limit Bitch at Darlington 2005,  Limit bitch at WELKS 2006, and is very rarely unplaced at Championship shows.
