| The main axis of the series one plot was the founding of The Mallrats, & the troubles they experienced |
| -Amber, Dal , Cloe, Patsy, Salene, Paul Jack & Bob form the Mallrats, living in the city's Pheonix Mall -After failing to join the Locos, Lex, Ryan, Zandra & Glen are chased, & Glen is captured -Bray, Trudy, Lex, Ryan, KC, Zandra, Tai-San, Danni & Sasha eventually join during the series -Baby Brady is born -Zoot dies at the hands of Lex, after Bray brought him to the Mall to see Brady, his child -Bray confides in Salene that Zoot was in fact MArtin, his younger brother -Sasha & Dal are captured by the Nomads, a tribe of Slave Traders -The Mallrats are informed of an up-and-coming Tribal Gathering -Wary that it is a trap, Bray goes off to find out more about it -At the Gathering, Lex meets with Glen & some locos - who deal Lex a beating in revenge -KC sees Dal & Sasha are slaves, but not before Ebony buys them. To save them, Tai San must win the dance competition. The competition is knobbled & to escape, Lex incites a riot. -Lex & Zandra eventually marry -Amber briefly leaves with Sasha -Patsy brings a virus infected Glen into the mall -Lex, Amber, Bray, Dal & Bob journey to the Hope Island lab in search of the virus antidote, where they find a few vials of antidote & some computer discs -Glen eventually dies of the virus, & Tai San catches it but is cured by the antidote -KC is captured by the evil Tribe Circus -Tribe Circus invade the mall but are defeated by . . . . . the locos!?!? -Ebony & the locos demand the Antidote, which they get, taking Lex (with the virus) & Bray with them -After cracking the codes on the discs, they find coordinates to the Eagle Mountain observatory. |
