Angry Defensive Holding

The bottom line is that NE decided that they would illegally hold our receivers and the officials let them do it so i guess that it was a good game plan. No one was open because of the holding. It is a shame that the NFL allowed the rule change.

Thumbs down I really hate to grouse about

refs, but that was a pretty sorry group calling the game today. I guess we should have been doing the same thing, too late now.

Indy got a free 11 yard pass / 1st down on a play clock violation, so don't sweat it.

Patriot, maybe so, although one doesn't know if the clock on the field matched the official one the ref keeps.

Now on to holding, are you going to honestly tell me that on the 3rd and ten on the 2nd posession of the 2nd half that the Patriots DB didn't have a fistful of Marvin's jersey? Are you honestly going to tell me that the Pats defended didn't have a handful of Pollards jersey?

Well, it's like Bratzke said about Denver's chop blocks...if they do it, and it's not called, then it's legal. I guess our DBs didn't get the memo that defensive holding was to be taken out of the rulebook for this game. And btw...the officials keep the playclock on the field. Obviously that wasn't called because the stadium clock was wrong.
