Please ppl, stop the the REF ARE THE REASON threads...

It makes us look like crybabies. Refs werent responsible for 4 picks and a fumble.

Refs didnt decide this game. The Colts lack of O did.

Check the last couple of offensive plays the Colts had on your Tivo.
Check the countless offensive plays that the Patriots had, and held our lineman.

Like I said

So 2 holding non-calls (the first one maybe, the last one woulda been very, very ticky tack) was the reason the Colts were faced with scoring to tie or losing?? Me thinks not.

Tommy, the officals where enough to make you damage your childrens toys..they were that bad INO, but I didn't go there. This is Dr. Phil's brother...but the calls sucked...

As I said in a couple of other posts, by the end of the third quarter I was readsy,,willing and able to give the Pats their then just due. But, how they played dirty defense in the 4th and the refs let them get away with it has left a very very bad taste in my mouth.

It wasn't dirty defense. The Pats DBs played agressive and made the officials make the call. The refs chose not too. There were a couple I think should have been called on the Pats DBs, but the INT by Harris in the end zone was just as blatant a hold as the others. That one worked out for the Colts.

Ah, the "refs screwed us" defense will go over well with the fanbase that remembers the phantom roughing the passer call from 1978 against the Oakland Cheaters and the too many men on the ice call against the Habs in the same year...

Grow up.

Why not? It's obvious. The interceptions were the result of holding and pass interference.

Hey, you can't blame the refs. The fact is, if the refs were going to be more lenient by letting those go, we should have played the same game. If we had put a hand on their receivers, maybe we could have slowed them down enough to stay in the game early.

Uh...no, I think it was the Colts giving up the 4th and 8 that did that. BTW, that was their 2nd 4th down converted in a row.

Refs blew a few calls. Colts blew the whole game.

'nuff said.
