Mix in bowl:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar

Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients:
1 stick margarine
3-1/2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Beat together and add to the above:
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Pour into greased, floured sheet-cake pan
and bake at 350 degrees until done.

FUDGE ICING

2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all ingredients well and stir over medium heat
until margarine melts. Let come to a good boil and cover
for 30 seconds. Uncover and cook another 30 seconds.
Let cool; add vanilla and beat until creamy and of
spreading consistency. Spread over cooled cake.
