CHOCOLATE FRIED PIES(From the Kitchen of Evonne B. Phillips)2 cups self-rising flour 1 egg 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup milk or water
Filling for each pie:
Pinch off egg-size or larger piece of dough and roll out (on a floured surface to about 1/8" thickness). Use a saucer or something round of a similar size to use as a guide to cut the circle from the dough for the pie.
Mix dry ingredients of filling well and sprinkle
