POPCORN BALL SYRUP

From the Kitchen of Aneida Boyd
(My mother-in-law)

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 to 1/3 cup white vinegar
1/4 stick margarine

Mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat
until it spins a thread.

This same recipe can be used to make a red glaze
for apples. Add red food coloring after cooking.
