MAMA'S SALSA

(From the kitchen of Billy Boyd)

3 quarts tomatoes
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons allspice
2-1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper
5 or 6 bell pepper
5 pods hot pepper
3 onions

Simmer uncovered for 2 hours.

Put in sterilized jars and seal.
