The swordless Link trick is probably the coolest glitch on Zelda 64, although I think it only works on version 1.0 (yes, there are three versions of the game). One of the cool things about it is that a gameshark is not required. To do this trick, you must first be able to get to Ganon. When you're up to him, wait until he knocks your master sword out of your hand. Then, save and reset your game. If the cheat worked, you should have the master sword, but not equipped. This doesn't sound like much, but once you've done it, there are lots of cool cheats for you to do - just remember, don't equip the sword. Here are some of the things you can do after you've done the swordless link cheat:

USE C ITEMS ON EPONA: This trick is cool. Hop on Epona, and you can use your C items - however, the icons for the C buttons will still fade away, so you'll have to memorise what items are equipped. Using this cheat, you can easily win the horseback archery contest at Gerudo Valley. First, talk to the Gerudo lady to start the competition. Then, play your Ocarina. To play it, Link will hop off Epona. Now, put your ocarina away and start shooting!
