Favorite Food/Drink: Ice Cream Sundaes Background Story: Meryl and her partner Mille Thompson work for the Bernandeli Insurnace Society, and for most of her career she has been trying to find Vash the Stampede to invest on his disasters. At first, the plan is to offer him presents and doughnuts... Meryl, on herself, is basically the "translator" of the series. Keeping an eye on Vash, and sticking to him like rubber cement. She is a good person though, and to be honest I think she gets jealous of all the girls Vash goes after.

Meryl isn't too thrilled in the whole Vash thing though. When she first finds out the Vash is really "Vash", she pretty much flips. "There's something wrong here... these people can't actually believe he is Vash the Stampede?!" She usually says, or "I think you need your eyes checked, this idiot is not Vash!" So, when she finds out, she is entirely amazed that the lunatic she met, the tall tall skinny blonde hair crazy man... is who everyone fears.
