Tips and cheats for the game
It looks exactly like Tony Hawk's 2, with graphics like Tony Hawk's 1, and it comes from the same people that made the tony hawk games. You can build your own skatepark, which Rocks! It comes with ten playable characters including the Condor himself, Rick Thorne, and others. The Demo on the Tony Hawk 2 game looked really cool with gaps, special tricks, and a hidden dirt course. The only complaint is that the controls were a little off and the level had a few minor glitches. Other than that, if you're going to get 1 bmx game this season, mat hoffman's pro BMX looks the most promising. For more, see links below. I know have the Mat Hoffman game and if u have playstation, go get it. They fixed all the problems up for the final relase of the game and it was worth the wait. nuff said. |

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 | |||||||||||||
coming winter 2001(supposedly)
This is what the August issue of the Official Playstation Magazine had to say about this Playstation 2 ONLY game: Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 dust off your handlebars, Hoffman's heading for PS2 It's no surprise Activision's Mat Hoffman for PS one is atop sale charts. It's the first truly dynamic bmx game where you can waste away 4 or 5 hours trying to clear the levels and then hang around for a couple more hours just to string together the perfect trick sequence. You look at the clock and say "Darn, a whole day wasted." But then you grab the Hidden cover or score 75,000 points, and you're happily using up even more vital hours. With this in mind, its as nice as it is dangerous that a sequel is in the works- this winter, prepare to dive into Mat Hoffman 2. With the game on PS2, it means crisper graphics, slicker animations, and all 8 riders from the original back to tear up 10 bigger and more diverse terrains that the PS1 couldn't handle. The great news: Its being developed by Rainbow studios, the makers of the very fun ATV Offroad Fury. You'll also be able to create a rider and parkin the BMX course editor. I've seen the graphics for this game and I'm baffled. So much clearer than the the original. Hoffman's face looks very realistic, and you can even spot tiny things like brake cables, seatclamps and even spokes. The only problem I can think of is that its on PS2 and I don't think they're even available. |
