| As I'm writing this, I just came back from the Garden State Mall and guess who I was with? Paul and I have been riding together off and on for about 3 years. We push each other to ride better and it shows. He taught me how to barspin and I taught him the basics of a 180. He comes to me and says "hey, check out this trick i just invented." And then I tell him the actual name of the trick and we just laugh about it. When we're riding with other people, we have some sort of unspoken friendly competition. It sounds wierd, I know, but when we go to the park, its who can do the longest feeble grind on the bridge. At the trails, its who gets the air or the flattest tabletop or something. On the ground, its who can do the nicest trick... you get the point. But it kicks ass. Its all good fun. Paul might just wind up in the magazines one day if he works hard at it. If you've seen him ride, you know what I'm talking about. He currently rides a 99' x-games frame with new parts for street and flat, and a gt from the 80's in dirt. He's good at bunnyhops and if he wants too, he will go super high; like 3 feet. | ||||||||||||||
