The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
A trilogy of five (just smile and nod) humorous, satirical, bizarre, wonderful sci-fi books.
My HHGTTG Stuff
- Quotes
- My review of Life, the Universe, and Everything- please understand that I wrote this when I was thirteen years old for a teacher who already though I was disturbingly odd.

- DEEP THOUGHT- based on the computer that took thousands of years to find the correct answer to the question they hadn't meant to ask in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
- The Douglas Adams Quote Directory- quotations from the Hitchhiker's trilogy and other works by Douglas Adams
- H2G2- an online, in-progress Earth edition of The Book (look for the entries on CTY and Don Maclean's American Pie)
The Princess Bride
One of the best movies ever made

Purity Tests
Basically what they sound like: the conventional ones test your "purity" based on your experience with sex, drugs, etc. Others test how "pure" you are from nerdiness, insanity, Gillian Anderson, or just about anything else.

SET
Calls itself "the family game of visual perception." Got slightly addicted my first year of Big Kids' CTY, helped spread the fixation ever since.
The SET Game Company has a homepage that explains the game better than I can without cards in hand. Also runs a SET-finding contest and contains some intellectual-type material about the mathematics of the game.
Egyptian Ratscrew
Another card game, this one involving normal cards. Again, others have explained it far better than me, and a link to one of those others is coming soon.
