Sorry
It's such a pathetic word. People use it so flippantly but expect the word to possess the power of magic; as if by saying it, it can erase all wrongdoing. Pain, humiliation, sorrow and heartache cannot be eradicated in an instant as soon as 'sorry' has been muttered from the mouth of the hunter when his victim is on his knees. 'Sorry' is not the tissue that wipes away the tears. It is not a comfort, it merely emphasises the emotion that is like a riot in your heart. 'Sorry' hints at regret, but is it regret that the hunter feels or is it pity when he is staring down at his victim? Let's be honest here...
