Whereas the Heads' Summer Residence Levy was establish in April of 2001 to pay for the Heads of College and Heads of Arts to stay in residence over the summer;
Whereas the restrictions on this levy are that the heads take fewer than 3.5 courses during the academic year and that the head actually be in residence over the summer;
Whereas according to these restrictions only one of the four heads is eligible for this residence rebate this year;
Whereas the balance of the Heads' Summer Residence Levy account is currently at around $11,000;
Whereas Gyun Choi, Head of Arts, has submitted receipts for $1,992.85 for his summer residence at Trinity;

BIRT the JCM retroactively change the restrictions on the Heads' Summer Residence Levy such that the restriction "that the heads take fewer than 3.5 courses" be amended to read "that the heads take fewer than 4.0 courses"

Whereas the Trinity Senate election rules state that the student body must elect annually one student in their first year, who will serve on the CAC in their second year;
Whereas the Trinity JCM election rules state that the student can either be in his or her first or second year when elected, and therefore be in his or her second or third year when serving on the CAC;
Whereas the Trinity Senate will not accept a student who is elected in his or her second year and serve in his or her third year;
BIRT section 4.05 of the JCM Electoral Rules be amended so that instead of reading “(open only to first and second years)” it reads “(open only to first years)”.
BIFRT section 4.12 of the JCM Electoral Rules be amended so that instead of reading “Only students in their first or second year may run for the positions of the Senate’s Community Affairs Committee, but voting shall be open to all students” it reads “Only students in their first year may run for the positions of the Senate’s Community Affairs Committee, but voting shall be open to all students.”
