This Welder consists of three microwave transformers that have had the secondaries removed and replaced with no. 6 copper wire. This decreases the voltage and greatly increases the amperage. This setup will use 3/32 6011 rods with no problems. I still do not have a high enough voltage for using 7018 welding rods, as they are a higher voltage welding rod.
