FGPC RULES
1. You must have a web-page and it must be at or below a PG-13 rating. There should be a persona on this website who can either ride or fly with a dragon. (Please do not send too many winged candidates, I'm not fond of them and unless they have a pulitzer-prize worthy story they don't generally impress well. I am of course exagerating to make a point...)
2. Please put some time into your candidate, I will be putting a great deal of time into the FGPC images and expect your candidate to be worthy of the time I put into their dragon. With the structural changes proposed by some of the geneticists for the current eggs there will not be an easily colored 'basic set' of images. Please be sure your candidate is worthy of the extremely rare dragon they are trying for! (Assuming I have time to read the candidate when you send him/her in I will let you know if you're not up to par, but please do not count on me having that time!)
3. FGPC candidates, like TSCZ candidates will be expected to do chores, mostly in the kitchens but occasionally they will be given other tasks, like helping clear construction debris (the FGPC is always expanding or making changes). When not doing chores the candidates will be expected to complete dragon tutorials on the computers in the lab marked for candidate use (it is in the same hallway as the candidate dormitories). Under no circumstances should candidates be found using computers in the Student's Lab, or, much worse, the Genetics Lab. Any candidates found in these labs will be punished if they are allowed to stay on as candidates at all. (Hint: something to spice up your candidate stories if you like)
4. You may put color requests on the form but please keep in mind the theme of the clutch you entered. If you entered a stone themed clutch and request a purple dragon chances are you will not get what you want. Also keep in mind that color requests are merely suggestions. No one really knows how the dragons will bond...
5. To prove that you read the rules please tell me what your favorite book is in the comments box of the form.
6. You may send in a reservation if you want to reserve a space, but all reservations will be automatically dropped when the clutch has filled. If you are close to being done at that time you may request an extention and perhaps the geneticists will grant it, perhaps not.
7. All Tripaldi rules also apply so it might be a good idea to weave your way through the tunnels back to Triapldi to read through those before proceeding.
8. Candidates for the FGPC may be of any origin, though as on the normal sands they must have some way of getting to Pern. You may use any of the following Searchriders for your search story, but do not use the Tripaldi Searchriders. Only rare dragons can sniff out rare dragon potential.
Quadora and White Liazeth
Rowe and Green-White Hellitamath
K'ti and Blue with Silver Khetath
Alae and Copper Shteth
Thysia and Green with Silver Mennuth
Note: Please be sure you note in your candidate's search story that they are being searched for the TSCZ branch of the FGPC.
Also Note: The searchriders are not being sent out for the current clutch. The eggs are giving off an aura that draws suitable candidates to the TSCZ.
9. Remember, applying does not guarantee you a dragon. You are requesting a dragon from me and I will decide if you are worthy or not. If your candidate does not impress I would be more than happy to discuss why so feel free to contact me about it.
All candidates must be completed by July 10th, no exceptions! I want the sands clear shortly thereafter so I will not yield on this one...
