I just received some sad news today (click for article).  Dominique has officially withdrawn from the Olympic Trials due to a bone chip in her knee that she had surgery on last year.  Unfortunately, this means that Dominique will not be able to compete at the Olympics in Sydney this year.  I for one, know how much of an extreme dissapointment this must be for her.  I think it would be very generous and caring if all of you sent her a card or something showing that you care.  She has done so much for hundreds of thousands of athletes and non-athletes alike.  This would be just a small token of appreciation for all the inspiration she has produced in so many different individuals.  Here is an address to write to.  If you want, include this website in your letter or card, so that she knows this is a group effort to show our appreciation.  I wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors, whether they be in gymnastics or anything else.
