Edward T. Dusek of Owatonna died Monday. Jan. 27 at Praire Manor, Blm. Pra. He was 86.

Edward Dusek was born June 19, 1910, in Steele County, the son of John H. and Anna (Jirele) Dusek.

On June 14, 1938, he married Agnes Wanous at Sacred Heart Church in Owatonna.

Mr. Dusek farmed for many years until his retirement in the mid 1970’s.

He was a 50-year member of the Catholic Workman, Owatonna Eagles Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed old cars and attending Car Nuts Auto Shows.

Mr. Dusek is survived by a granddaughter, Debbie (Michael) Frodl, Medina; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 14, 1991, a son, two sisters and a brother.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Thomas Jennings will officiate. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Brick-Postlewaite Funeral Home and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Parish prayers will begin at 6:30 this evening at the funeral home.
