Jerome
P. Dusek, 76, a retired employee of Swift and Co.,
died Friday at the Belgrade (Minn) Nursing Home. He
was born April 1, 1894, in
Mr.
Dusek is survived by his wife; four children: Mrs.
Arnold (Marlyce) Borchart,
Sauk Rapids, Minn.; Mrs. Wayne (Marian) Barber, Indianapolis, Indiana, Mrs.
Richard (JoAnn) Jents, St.
Paul, Minn., and Jerome Dusek, Jr. at home; six
grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Elizabeth Finken,
Sauk Centre and Mrs. Mary Merten,
Sauk Centre; and two brothers; Dan Dusek and Albert Dusek, both of
Sauk Centre. One brother, one sister, and one son,
Robert, preceded him in death.
He
was a veteran of World War I and a member of American Legion Post 67.
Funeral
services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Angels Church.
Pallbearers
were nephews; Victor Odegard, Norbert Odegard, Tony Merten, Mike Kortan, Louis Kortan and David Kortan. Crossbearer was Scot
Barber. Honorary pallbearers were veterans of World War I. A military funeral
was organized by Allan Polipnick of Post 67 and
colors were held by the V.F.W.
