Joseph Moch

Funeral services for Joseph Moch, 216 Hobart, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mr. Moch died at Cedarview Nursing Home Friday at age 76.

Born Feb. 25, 1904, in Steele County, Mr. Moch learned the baker trade at Sanders Bakery, which was formerly located on North Cedar Street. In 1942 he purchased the Dusek bakery in Northfield.

After a fire destroyed the bakery he purchased another bakery in Owatonna called the Quality Bakery, located on North Cedar. He later sold the Quality Bakery and worked at the Central Bakery until retirement.

He is survived by two brothers, John of Owatonna and Harry of Burbank, Cailf.; three sisters, Florence Moch of Owatonna; Jean Tri of Williston, N.D.; and Gertrude Rafferty of Owatonna.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in December, 1956; and a brother, Frank.

Visitation is from 3 to 5 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday at Brick's Funeral Home. A prayer vigil is scheduled for 8 P.M. Sunday. Msgr. Emmett Tighe will be officiating minister and burial is at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
