Marlin E. Dusek, age 74, of Madison, formerly of Oregon, died on Sunday, May 27, 2001, at a local nursing home. He was born on June 9, 1926 in Verona, Wisconsin, to Adolph and Berdella (Goth) Dusek.

He attended St. Mary’s Adult Day Care for many years. He enjoyed drawing and painting and having his artwork displayed throughout Madison.

Marlin was loved by all who knew him. Survivors include two sisters, Marian Heiking and Margaret Eichelkraut; a sister-in-law, Thelma Eichelkraut; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Marlin was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Raymond.

Funeral services will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7302 Mineral Point Road, at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2001. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Adult Day Care Center.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Adult Day Care and Teri McCormick for her 15 years of wonderful care and dedication to Marlin.
