MRS. PETER (MARY) DUSEK

Mrs. Peter Dusek passed away at the St. Cloud hospital Friday, April 20, 1934, at 5:45 p.m.. The deceased was taken ill the Sunday previous to her death, and was removed to the hospital Thursday, April 19.

Mary Wanous was born in Steele County, Minn, Feb 2, 1876. She grew to young womanhood in Steele County.

July 4, 1893, she was united in marriage at Somerset, Steele County to Peter Dusek. To this union seven children were born as follows: Jerome and David (Daniel) Dusek, Sauk Centre; Adolph Dusek, Riley, Wis; Mrs. John Merten, Mrs. Ole Odegard, Albert Dusek, and Mrs. Elizabeth Kind, all of Sauk Centre. The husband also survives. There are three brothers and sisters surviving.

The family moved from Steele County to Raymond Twp in 1913. In the fall of 1919, Mr. Dusek purchased the farm where the family now resides 1 ½ miles west of Sauk Centre.

The funeral was held from the Church of Our Lady of the Angels, Sauk Centre, Monday at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Mayer, the pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery east of the city. The pall bearers were: Charles Kortan, Tony Jung, Ben Walthers, Wm. Beste, Leo Zehrer, Tony Beiringer.
