Mrs. Rose Odegaard, 62, of Sauk centre, passed away Monday, March 10, 1969, at St. Michael's Hospital.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 1969, at Our Lady of the Angels, Sauk Centre. The Mass was read by Father Paul Schmelzer, assisted by Monsignor Lorsung. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

Active pallbearers were John, Norbert, and Paul Bentfield, Norbert Otte, William Kane, and Bill Unger. Crossbearer was Diane Massmann, oldest grand-daughter.

Mrs. Odegaard, daughter of Peter and Mary Dusek, was born May 3, 1906, at Owatonna, Minn. On April 24, 1929, she was united in marriage to Ole B. Odegaard at Sauk Centre where they continued to make their home. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and of the Christian Mother's Society.

She is survived by five children: Mrs. Erwin (Bernice) Massmann of Sauk Centre; Mrs. Eddie (Betty) Von Wahlde of West Union; Mrs. Harold (Rosalind) Whitmore of St. Paul Park, Minn.; Victor and Norbert Odegaard of Sauk Centre. There are 20 grand-children.

Sisters surviving are: Mrs. John (Mary) Merten and Mrs. Peter (Elizabeth) Finken of Sauk Centre. Brothers surviving are: Jerome, Daniel, and Albert Dusek all of Sauk Centre.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 26, 1968. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Adolph Dusek of Wisconsin and one sister who died in infancy.

Relatives and friends attending from out of town were from West Union, Carlos, Owatonna, Montgomery, St. Cloud, St. Paul, and Little Falls, Minn.
