Rose Sweida

OWATONNA--Rose A. Swedia, 421 Larch, died Friday, march 7 at Cedarview Nursing Home. She was 87.

Rose Swedia was born May 11, 1898 in Bixby. She and her husband Frank were involved in farming for most of their lives and moved to Owatonna in 1956.

She is survived by a son, Donald F. Sweida of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother Albert Jirele of Owatonna; and one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975, and one sister.

The funeral will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church. The Rev. James McCauley will officiate. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. Monday at the Brick Funeral Home and one hour before the service Tuesday at the church. There will be a prayer vigil at 7 P.M. Monday at the church.
