Well, we made it! Barely. We all had the flu, Warren and I had it at the same time same day, so the kids were lacking in great parental support. But they ate and drank and were supervised and I guess no worse for the wear. Austin, Ryan and Warren had it the worst. I was feeling loopy and yucky and completely horrible, but never to the extent as they were, I thank God, cuz I HATE to throw up! UGH! Josh has some lingering flu, but nothing major. We're all alive at least. The house looked like an atomic bomb went off inside, laundry is piled up and the floor needs mopped, but we're alive.
More news, we just found out, Warren is up for an interview this Wednesday? for
CRICKET and that could mean we're moving back to Oregon before Christmas!!!!!!!! OY! The thing is, we've talked about it and thought about it, and figured that we're most likely going to have to rent this place out for a bit until we can sell it, that's it our home loan isn't assumable. If it IS assumable we can do a lease option, which would be the best bet. But most likely it's not, so we're faced with renting it out. We're not thrilled about it,but what choice do we have? Cricket has to give us at least a month we'd think, to get down there and moved into some place. We're going to have to look into renting a duplex or house or something until we can buy. All of this would go really smoothly with family assistance. We figure, we'll need to do some painting and some minor fix ups inside, and maybe we can ask family to come up and help, and maybe help us take a majority of our stuff to storage for us. That way, on moving day we only have minimal stuff to move out. Also hopefully we can ask someone(s) to help us be our eyes in Salem for a good place to move. All this is pending Warren's interview of course. I assume our family won't mind helping, if they're not otherwise engaged. Might be a good thing to talk with family about when we go down there next weekend (warren vacation ok'd pending) It's exciting to us, but scary as well. But, we made a scary move up here, where we knew NO ONE and knew nothing about this place, so I think moving back to somewhere we're familiar with will be a bit easier.  We're not thrilled, however, about pulling Austin out of school. That's another thing I'll have to do is register him in school, once we figure out where we're going to live. He won't have the benefits of being in an advanced classroom that he's in at Trent, but maybe if I ask them to challenge him, they will.  Challenges.... bring it on!

What is it with kids? Is it just boys? or is it just Ryan? He has 3 favorite shirts. One of them is a race car shirt, that once belonged to Austin, another is a Star Wars (big Dog) shirt, also once belonging to Austin, and a yellow shirt with a lizard on the front. Now, He insists on wearing these shirts for days on end. we have to sneak them away and replace it with another of his favorites or he'll completely crumble. He gets so upset. On occasion, he'll wear one of his new cool ones, but if he sees one of his chosen faves, forget it, that shirt is off and the fave is on! I don't get it. Let me wash the shirt THEN you can wear it again! Oh no we can't have that. He wore his yellow lizard shirt for 3 days. He threw up on it but still refused to take it off until we found the racecar shirt in the clean clothes. What happens when he outgrows the shirts? Do they have support groups for things like that?

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain.
