So today was uneventful for the most part. Cleaned a BUNCH of stuff out of our garage that's been there for a LONG time. It's nice to have some room in there. Next thing on the list is to call St Vincent DePaul and see if they can haul out all the rest of the stuff.
Warren put the new stove in. It of course doesn't fit right. He had to jam it into the space. It wasn't wide enough and it was a few millimeters too deep perfect every other way. But it is in there and isn't coming out. We're going to find something to hide the small gaps on either side. Probably some moldings or trim pieces or something. We'll have to look into it. If you have any ideas, let me know!  We also ordered our new blinds for the living room. They won't be in for 2 weeks of course. Just in time for when everyone will be gone! UGH! hahaa well I can just describe them!? hahaha They're melon colored. More of a canteloupe. Why do they call it melon? Watermelon is red. Anyway, It will look really good in the living room. I can't wait. Who knows, maybe I'll luck out and they'll arrive just before everyone gets here and we can get them up! Cross your fingers.
Something monumental happened. I put an ad in the paper to get rid of Jasmine. Well the ad just started running today. And someone already called about her. I'll have to return his call tomorrow. Or maybe I'll make Warren call. I don't know that I can call them without sobbing on the phone. I know it's for the best.  But anyone who knows me, knows what Jasmine means to me. It's going to be very hard for me. Giving away my best friend (in the animal world) someone who's been with me thru everything in my life. Every tragedy, every life experience. My heart is breaking.
I think that's it. Not much happened today. Boring life in Spokane. It's ok though. Sometimes boring is best.
So, until tomorrow.
