September RAW |
Trish was shown in the backstage area heading to the ring to officially confirm her intention to retire after the upcoming Unforigven PPV. Lita confornted her, and Trish made clear her intention to challenge Lita for the belt one last time at the PPV. It wasn't long though before tempers boiled over and the two women started fighting. Randy Orton and Carlito soon entered the fray to try and break things up, but with their own bad blood they just added to the chaos. Later in the night Lita demanded a match so as to get even with Trish. Shane McMahon duly granted her a six person tag match pitting the teams of Trish, Carlito and John Cena versus that of Edge, Lita and Randy Orton. Much like the earlier backstage events, the match soon became chaotic and Randy was able to score the RKO on Trish, which allowed Lita to pick up the win. |

September RAW |
As previously mentioned, this week on RAW Trish took on Mickie James in her last ever match on RAW. Trish showed us all why she is a six times Women's champion and why she has risen up through the ranks of the WWE as much as she has with her performance tonight. Lita tried to interfere in the match, but Trish simply used her as the springboard for her Stratusfaction rather than the ropes which allowed her to take out the red-head and take Mickie down for the pin. After the match, Trish and Mickie shook hands and hugged, and Trish took the mic to thank the fans for their support throughout her career. | |
Unforgiven
2006 |
Unforgiven 2006 marked the end of an era for one of the WWE's most exciting and interesting Divas. Since Trish's debut all those years ago she's given the fans a rollercoaster of a ride, and participated in some of the greatest female wrestling matches in the company's long history. Trish's final match against Lita for the Women's Championship was no different. In order to pick up the win and become an unprecedented seven-time Women's Champion, Trish utilised every move in her arsenal, and made sure that her final match was one to remember. After connecting with a Chick Kick, Trish went for the Stratusfaction, but turned it into a sunset flip, and then turned that into a Sharpshooter submission hold. For the first and last time in her career, Trish used the move to pick up the win and dealt her long time adversary one last humiliating blow. |
