Tris' Studio - Auto-mail Tutorial

I have to repaint my auto-mail, so sorry for the bad pictures ^_^'

Before you start cutting out any styrene (the plastic), make a paper patern. Make sure the patern is a little big for your finger because you will be wearing black gloves under it, so you don't want it to be too tight. Make sure that you can bend and move your fingers easily also.

For the fingers there are 3 parts. (so you can move)
1. Patern with 2 notches = finger piece closest to the knuckle.
2. Patern with 1 notch = middle joint
3. Patern with no notches = finger tip
But for the thumb, just use patern's 1 and 3.

Since your fingers will have holes at the finger tips, you'll need to make this, or... something like it.: Click here
and just glue it on from the inside.
I know thats kind of stupid, but if you used the other patern I tried for the finger, it would just end up breaking. But it looks better then it having to finger tips.

After you have glued all the fingers together, paint them sliver.
After you have painted them, cut some piece's of elastic that are a little bit longer then your finger, about a little ways past your knuckle. Glue the elastic on the inside of the finger. Like this: Click here
