Tris' Studio - Auto-mail Tutorial

I need to repaint my auto-mail, so sorry for the bad pictures.

First make a patern that looks like the top of your hand. Like This. Then trace it on the styrene and cut it out. After, cut out a patern that looks like This.
Make sure that it fits the piece that looks like the top part of your hand, then cut it out of styrene.
This part will go where the knuckles are. Glue it on the face of the piece that looks like the surface of your hand, where the knuckles should be.

For the knuckles, just make small circles that fit into the gaps of this patern.

But for the thumb, make this one, and glue it on the edge of where your thumb is on This patern.

Then make a patern that looks like This. There will be a big skrew where the curved part is so just cut out a circle and cut it in half.
After you have cut out and glued everything the top part of the hand should look like this.

Now for the palm.
The palm is very easy.
Just make a patern that looks like This, then cut it out of styrene. You'll have to make a big screw again so just make another circle and cut it in half.
After, make a patern out of craft foam that looks like This, and glue the other palm piece to it.

After, paint it.
You can paint it all together or separate.
When everything is painted, glue the fingers onto the hand. Click here.
