The Temple of the Spirit

I can’t quite remember what exactly pushed me over the edge to make the leap to vegetarianism.  I know the influence of two vegans who gave me all the facts had something to do with it, but I think eventually my rational mind took over.  After going vegetarian, cutting out eggs was easy at first, but my glass or two of milk a day habit was hard.  Luckily I went running one hot summer day and almost puked after getting only a mile.  I had just chugged a glass of milk and I knew that was the cause.  The feeling was intense and I knew it was bad for me.  And I never had another glass of milk again.  And if I was the only vegan in the world and I found out it was unhealthy and I’d probably die from it, I’d continue to be a vegan.

How to win an argument with a meat eater. The nonviolent way.  This is supposed to arm you with many factoids that will shock and amaze whomever you are arguing with.  Let me say however, if it is an argument, you probably have already lost.  Discussion, explanation, and enlightenment work much better than confrontation.  Use this knowledge to teach and enlighten.
